The Borne+ 3.8 kW portable electric car charger is made of high quality materials designed to withstand all hostile environments.
Its thermoplastic engineering plastic shell guarantees exceptional robustness against shocks and other severe conditions. The charger is RoHs certified and has a UL94 V-0 flame retardant rating. It is mounted with rubber safety seals that protect the integrated circuit. Its IP55-certified housing is resistant to water jets. However, be careful not to submerge it or expose it to heavy rain. The Mennekes socket types (Type 2) are also protected against splashing water via IP44 protection. The equipment does not require any special precautions for use and is suitable for all situations. It can withstand a fall of 1m and a pressure of 2 tons. This electric vehicle charging equipment will continue to work even if you accidentally crush it with the wheels of a light car. At the same time, the portable charger withstands extreme weather conditions via a greatly expanded temperature range of -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C). - The flashing red + green + blue LED indicates that the device is connected and charging the electric car
- The red + green + blue LED indicates a full charge (vehicle fully charged).
- The red + green + yellow LED indicates a communication fault. Check the connection.
- The flashing red + green + blue LED indicates that the overload protection has been activated.
- The red + green + blue flashing + yellow LED indicates a power supply problem (SCP). Check the charging infrastructure and the power source (voltage, power) if it is suitable for the charger (240V AC 16A 50-60Hz).
- The red + green flashing + blue flashing + yellow LED indicates that the leakage protection is activated.
- The flashing red + yellow LED indicates that the overvoltage or low-voltage protection has been activated.
- Red + green + blue + yellow LED indicates activation of overheating protection
